The following list of trace elements are needed in a small (catalytic) amount – 0.02% - in the body:
Zinc, Copper, Nickle, Manganese, Cobalt, Iron, Lithium, Potassium, Molybdenum, Selenium, Chromium, Iodine, Vanadium, Iron.
They are not to be confused with macro elements which are needed in large amounts 99.98% - for construction of connective tissue:
Hydrogen, Oxygen, Carbon, Calcium, Phosphorus, Magnesium, Potassium, Sulphur, Sodium, Nitrogen, and Silicon,
